Trees Planted For Cheap In Radnor Township
Radnor Township is still offering to plant trees on residential properties, for a donation of $35 to the Shade Tree Commission project.

RADNOR TOWNSHIP — Trees add value to property and beautify the town, so Radnor Township is still offering to plant a tree in any resident's yard.
For a $35 donation, the township will plant a tree in any spot that's at least 10 feet from a roadway. A professional landscaper does the planting this fall, and the resident has to agree to water the tree for its first year.
Touting the benefits of trees, Radnor Township and the Shade Tree Commission remind residents that trees create cleaner air and water, can help in flood and temperature control, remove carbon dioxide from the atmosphere, and provide wildlife habitat.
