Wayne Man Is Freed On Bail In Main Line Stabbing
Nahun Montiel, 65, is accused of stabbing his daughter's boyfriend Tuesday in Radnor.
RADNOR, PA —A 65-year-old Wayne man was freed from George W. Hill Correctional Facility, Glen Mills, Wednesday after posting $10,000 of his $100,000 bail on charges of stabbing a man, identified as his daughter's boyfriend, according to court records.
Nahun Montiel of the 100 block of Conestoga Road is accused of stabbing Jorge Olan multiple times with a folding knife in the parking lot outside of Bertucci’s Italian Restaurant in the 500 block of West Lancaster Avenue, police said.
The law required suspects to post 10% of bail to be released from custody to await trial.

Bail was posted Wednesday afternoon at District Judge David Lang’s office in Newtown Square.

- Radnor Township police responded to a call of a stabbing at 9:30 a.m. at Bertucci's.
- Olan was taken to Paoli Hospital, where he was treated for multiple stab wounds.
- The victim told police Montiel stabbed him because he did not approve of the relationship with his daughter.
- Police tracked down Montiel in his vehicle, and he was taken into custody.
- Montiel is awaiting a preliminary hearing on charges of aggravated assault, possessing instruments of crime and related charges.
