Wayne Trick-Or-Treat Event Tonight Rescheduled For Saturday
Trick-or-treating sponsored by Wayne businesses was planned for tonight but has been rescheduled for Saturday as heavy rain moves in.
WAYNE, PA — A business association trick-or-treating event in Wayne has been moved to Saturday from 2-4 p.m. as the fallout of Hurricane Zeta moves through the Greater Philadelphia area.
The Wayne Business Association is hosting the rescheduled event Saturday at the N. Wayne Avenue Picnic Grove Tent. Trick-or-treating outdoors will be followed by Making Music under the tent, the association announced today.
Radnor Township's official trick-or-treat event is all virtual this year, and includes a costume contest and pumpkin carving contest online on Saturday at 11 a.m. Information can be found here.

Trick-or-treating at the Radnor Township building was cancelled this year, the township said.
Radnor Township's website posted a weather alert on Wednesday. Delaware County Emergency Services said the remnants of Hurricane Zeta was headed towards into the area. After making landfall along the Louisiana Coast Wednesday, the remnants of Hurricane Zeta are forecast to move over our region into the second half of the workweek.

Heavy rainfall totaling 1-3 inches is expected Thursday and Friday, and could lead to minor flooding in some areas. Also included in the alert for Friday and early Saturday are predictions of possible gale-force winds.
