Man Sought In Roxborough Hit-And-Run That Hurt Woman, Child

Police are looking for Onesimo Bosket​ in connection with a hit-and-run that hurt a 41-year-old woman and a 9-year-old girl in Roxborough.

ROXBOROUGH, PHILADELPHIA — Police in Philadelphia are asking for help finding a driver accused of striking a woman and a child near in Roxborough in late September.

The incident occurred at 12:30 p.m. on Sept. 23 on the 5800 block of Henry Avenue.

A 41-year-old woman and a 9-year-old girl were trying to cross Henry Avenue, police said.

The two were standing in the center median when a vehicle in the left lane stopped to let them cross.

Police said the stopped vehicle blocked their view and when they came into the right lane of Henry Avenue, a 2010 Silver Nissan Maxima struck them.

The vehicle lost control and struck a vacant building, and the driver left the area and left two female passengers behind, police said.

The woman was taken to Albert Einstein Hospital where she was listed in critical condition and the child was in stable condition also at Albert Einstein Hospital.

Both passengers were also transported to Albert Einstein Hospital by medic with minor injuries.

Police are looking for Onesimo Bosket, 24, in connection with the incident.

He is described as a black male with light complexion, standing 5 feet 8 inches tall, weighing 150 pounds, with brown eyes and brown hair.
