Western Salisbury Fire Department is a volunteer fire company that serves the western end of Salisbury Township. The company protects Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest and its Medevac operation; Interstate 78, from the Summit Lawn exit to its split with Route 309 North; numerous commercial establishments and some light industry and a portion of the Norfolk Southern main east-west line.
