Andrew McMahon Concert, Kay Jewelers Event in Salisbury

The kids can hit the summer playground program, which is in its final week and potential substitute teachers can apply for work today.

Tuesday, July 23 in Salisbury Township will feature a 60 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms with a high of 84, according to the National Weather Service.

Here are the highlights of what's going on in and around town today:

  • Andrew McMahon entertains at the Musikfest Cafe at SteelStacks in Bethlehem at 7 p.m. 
  • Kay Jewelers in the South Mall will hold its one-day Le Vian designer event, featuring diamonds and color stone jewelry.
  • Interested in becoming a substitute teacher in the Salisbury Township School District? Applications are accepted today from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. at the administration office, located at 1140 Salisbury Road. 
  • Salisbury Township's Summer Playground Program continues. Township children who have completed Kindergarten through age 12 are eligible to participate. Program hours are Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to noon, through the end of this week. Participating parks are  Lindberg Park, Green Acres Park, Devonshire Park and Green Acres Park.
