Community Pep Rally Friday for Salisbury Baseball Team

Rally from 8:30 a.m.-9:00 a.m. Friday as baseball team departs to play in PIAA state finals at Penn State, first time in school's history.

officials are calling on the community to come out to the school at 8:30 a.m. Friday to rally behind the before they depart to play in the PIAA 2A state championship at Penn State later that day. It is the first time in the school's history that it has an athletic team playing for a state championship.

Falcon fans are encouraged to show their school pride by wearing blue and white and to bring signs and posters.

The school will runΒ  buses to Penn State for students and members of the community. The costΒ  of the bus is $5 for students and $10 for adults, cash only. The cost of the game is separate ($4 for students, $8 for adults) and available at the stadium.Β

You must sign up by 3 p.m. Thursday, June 16. Seating is limited and is on a first come, first served basis.Β  Payment reserves your seat.Β  Students can sign up at the high school or middle school office. Students are required to bring permission notes from parents or guardians. Students younger than eighth grade must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Adults can sign up at the high school or e-mail Monica Deeb, director of student activities, at mdeeb@stsd.org.

Bus #1 (adults and seniors) will leave at 11 a.m. from Salisbury High School. Bus #2 will leave at 11:30 a.m. from Salisbury Middle School and at 11:50 a.m. from Salisbury High School.
