1. 104th Bethlehem Bach Festival

Where/When: Packer Memorial Church and Zoellner Arts Center at Lehigh University; Peter Hall at Moravian Church; First Presbyterian Church of Bethlehem; Friday and Saturday, May 6 and 7 and May 13-14.

Why go:Β  This annual celebration of Bach's music is a national gem in our backyard, features the Bach Choir of Bethlehem, Festival Orchestra and renowned soloists. The St. John Passion will be the featured work at 8 p.m. May 7 and May 13.

2. First Friday Bethlehem: Cinco de Mayo

Why go:Β  First Friday is always fun and now it comes with a Cinco de Mayo theme.

3. Nobodies of Comedy

Where/When:Β  State Theatre, 453 Northampton St., Easton; Friday, 8 p.m. Friday, May 6.

Why go: They've scoured the country for the funniest comics you've never heard of --- but will.Β  See tomorrow's stars of comedy today.Β  They've never heard of you either.

4. Peas & Q's Family Series: Kids Jam

5. Allentown Band Mother's Day concert

Where/When:Β  Springhouse Middle School, 1200 Springhouse Road, South Whitehall Township; 7 p.m. Sunday, May 8.

Why go: Concert features works by Sousa, Rossini, Solo de Concours with clarinet soloist Stephen Reisteter.
