1. 11^th Annual Bethlehem Guitar Festival

Where/When: Two days of recitals, workshops, master classes and a guitar expo presented by Moravian College and Martin Guitar, starting at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, June 3, and at 8:30 a.m., Saturday, June 4, at Moravian College, 1200 Main Street, Bethlehem.

Why go: You won’t get a better chance to hear and learn from the best.

2. “Private Lives”

Where/When: Noel Coward’s classic farce opens Friday, June 3, at 8 p.m. at the Pennsylvania Playhouse, 390 Illicks Mill Road, Bethlehem. Miss that one? You can catch the second show on Saturday, June 4, at 8 p.m.

Why go: A story of love, lust and betrayal. Get in the mood by using a British accent the entire night.

3. PBS39 Microbrew Festival

When/When: Enjoy the craft beers of nearly 30 brewers at the delicious festival, Saturday, June 4, from 2 p.m.-5 p.m. at Coca-Cola Park, 1050 Iron Pigs Way, Allentown.

Why go: Brews, live music and food? Happy Saturday.

4. Becky’s Drive-In

Where/When: Watch one of the summer’s biggest blockbusters, “The Hangover 2,” in the most retro way possible, at Becky’s Drive-In, 4548 Lehigh Drive, Walnutport, on Friday, June 3, Saturday, June 4, and Sunday, June 5, at 7 p.m.

Why go: A drive-in movie theatre that serves pierogies? Yes, please.

 5. Lehigh Valley Food and Wine Festival

Where/When: Sample food and wine by the area’s finest establishments from noon to 4 p.m. Sunday, June 5, at the Sands Casino, 77 Sands Boulevard, Bethlehem.

Why go: Food by Glasbern Inn, Emeril’s, Melt, Blue ... need we say more?
