Introducing...The Patch Poetry Challenge

It's National Poetry Month and my colleagues and I are inviting our readers to indulge their creative side and write us a poem, using a Twitter-friendly 140 characters or less. 

Here's a poem Salisbury Patch contributor and poet came up with in celebration of National Poetry Month: 

the wick of summer heat inserting itself between winter and spring in profligate desire for blossom for blossom for bird call
