Michael Pochron Wins District Judge in Salisbury, Fountain Hill
With 61 percent of the vote, Michael J. Pochron defeated his Democratic challenger Linda J. Minger.
will be the next district judge in Salisbury Township and Fountain Hill, according to WFMZ. With 61 percent of the vote, Pochron, a Republican, defeated his Democratic challenger 1,784 to 1,142, to head magisterial district justice court 31-1-08. All results are unofficial until certified by Lehigh County.
Pochron, acting police chief at DeSales University and a former Salisbury Township police sergeant, will take the position held by , 65, who is retiring from office after 25 years. Magisterial district justice terms are six years.
