New York Man Arrested for 'Sleight of Hand' at Sands Casino
Police say Jin Cheng defrauded the casino of $827.

State Police Gaming Enforcement officers arrested a New York man on Thursday for allegedly using βsleight of hand,β to alter his bets at a gaming table after bets were closed.
Jin Cheng Lin, 48, of College Point, N.Y., was charged with four counts of theft and two counts under the state gaming law to use a βtrick or fraudβ to win or reduce a loss. He was placed in Northampton County Prison under $75,000 bail.
According to court papers, Lin on four occasions βshuffledβ his chips in such a way as to attempt to fool the dealer at a mini bac table. Twice, he was successful, defrauding the casino of $827, according to police.
