Salisbury Man Killed in Motorcycle Crash

Gerald Boyer, of Flexer Avenue, was killed in a motorcycle crash in Washington Township over the weekend.

State police in Bethlehem are investigating a motorcycle accident that killed a Salisbury Township man Sunday in Washington Township, according to Lehigh County Coroner Scott Grim.

Gerald Boyer, 69, of 1156 Flexer Ave., of Salisbury, died from severe head injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene, he said.

The accident occurred after 11 a.m. at the intersection of Route 873 and Mountain Road. Boyer, who was driving a motorcycle, struck a utility pole, Grim said.
