Assault: Brendan Thomas, 22, of Coopersburg, charged April 11 with punching a security guard in the face at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest.

Assault: a 13-year-old boy: charged April 11 for allegedly punching a boy several times in the face at Salisbury Middle School.

Assault: Richard Heffelfinger, 48, 614 Crestline Ave., Bethlehem; charged April 7 with simple assault.

Retail theft: Ana Parra, 19, of S. Lumber St., Allentown; charged with retail theft on April 14; a shirt at The Bon-Ton; $45 estimated value.

Retail theft: Colleen Ehrig, 18, of Emmaus; Taylor Millheim, 18, of Macungie; charged April 9 with retail theft of makeup and other items from The Bon-Ton; $284.99 estimated value.

Theft: A caller reported $140 missing from a purse left April 6 in the cafeteria at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest.

Theft: A cell phone belonging to a Gold Wire kiosk employee was reported stolen April 3; $300 estimated value.
