Salisbury Police Blotter: Dogs Found

- Â A resident reported he found a large, skinny brown female dog, possibly a Doberman who may be nursing, May 28 in the 1600 block of Tweed Avenue. The dog's tag says "Shasta" and lists a phone number that is disconnected.
- Â Â Some children reported they found a brown pitbull on Jeter Avenue; police reported the dog was limping, had cuts on its head and "looked tired and worn out." The dog was transferred to the Lehigh County Humane Society.
- Â Some residents in the 2000 block of Potomac Street reported May 23 a friendly, tan and white pitbull followed them home. The dog had a collar, but no tag, police said. The dog was transferred to the Lehigh County Humane Society.
