Shoplifters Hit The Bon-Ton
The following information was provided by the Salisbury Township Police Department.

The Salisbury Township Police Department reported the following retail theft incidents at The Bon-Ton at South Mall:
- Sarah Islam, 20, of Macungie, was charged with retail theft Sept. 19 for allegedly taking two pairs of earrings and a pair of socks from The Bon-Ton; $126 estimated value; issued a summary citation, according to police.
- Maximo Tomlinson, 40, of 916 N. 21st St., Allentown, was charged with retail theft Sept. 17 for allegedly taking six Guess purses from The Bon-Ton- $348 estimated value; Tomlinson was seen walking out of the store with a bag of merchandise and driving away; a Salisbury police officer pursued Tomlinson through parking lot; the bag Tomlinson was carrying was found with stolen merchandise near the Perkins restaurant.
- Police reported a man fled The Bon-Ton with a pair of stolen jeans on Sept. 17. He dropped the jeans, which were recovered with ink from the exploded security dye tag. The man fled in a maroon Pontiac Sunbird police said.
The information was provided by the Salisbury Township Police Department. Arrests do not indicate a conviction.
