Summer Sports Camps, Yogurt Fundraiser Top Week Ahead
You can also attend Musikfest and the New Natural Hair, Health and Happiness Expo.

It is the first full week of August and there's precious little time left to take those vacations before the kids go back to school on Aug. 27.
But, there's still time left to enjoy the hazy, crazy days of summer and the week ahead in Salisbury Township and the surrounding area offers plenty of chances to do just that. Here are some of the highlights of the week:
- Summer Sports Camps get underway at the Swain School in Salisbury Township Monday and continue through the rest of the week. Camp fees range from $100 to $125. This includes registration, snacks, and T-shirts. All information and the registration form are available at www.swain.org/summer. For more information about summer sports camps, contact Maggie Werner, Athletic Director, at 610-433-4542, ext. 120, or mwerner@swain.org.
- A fundraiser for Salisbury High School cheerleaders will take place at Menchie's Frozen Yogurt at 353 S. Cedar Crest Blvd. in Allentown on Tuesday and Wednesday. Download the flyer off the Salisbury Township School District Facebook page, bring it to the store, and 20% of your total purchase will be donated to the cheerleaders.Â
- The New Natural Hair, Health and Happiness Expo takes place Saturday at The Cigar Factory in Allentown. Click here for more information.
- Musikfest continues throughout the week. Check out our Patch 2013 Musikfest Guide for details on how to enjoy the festival!
- The Salisbury Township Commissioners hold their bi-monthly meeting on Thursday at the municipal building at 7 p.m.
