Sunday Best: Go to the Allentown Art Museum for Free

Sunday's National Weather Service forecast is for sunny skies with highs in the low 70s. A perfect day to spend outdoors with the family. We've got quite a few ways for you to get out and enjoy a wonderful Sunday in and around Salisbury Township.

• You can't beat free. Art aficionados can visit the Allentown Art Museum for free Sunday. Hours are noon to 4 p.m.

• Going to Musikfest Sunday? Make sure you read Patch's 2013 Musikfest Guide before you go to plan your visit. 

• Go see some gross stuff. "Grossology," is featured at the DaVinci Science Center in Allentown Sunday from noon to 5 p.m. 

• Das Awkscht Fescht ends its three-day run Sunday at Macungie Memorial Park. Gates open at 6 a.m. for walk-in visitors. The flea market runs through dusk, and arts & crafts vendors are open until 9 p.m. Classic cars are on display. Entertainment runs until 4:30 p.m. Admission is $7 for adults and $2 for age 15 and under. 

• The nearby Lehigh Valley Zoo in Schnecksville is open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday.

• The Back2 Life Band plays Sunday at 8 p.m. at the Molten Lounge at Sands Bethlehem.

• The Pines Dinner Theatre in Allentown presents a matinee performance of "Footlose, The Musical," Sunday. Dinner is at 12:30 p.m. with the show starting at 2 p.m.
