Township Accepting Bids for Water Main Work

Salisbury Township is accepting sealed bids for the construction of a water main replacement along South Ellsworth Street, between East Paoli Street and Lynnwood Streets.

The work will include the installation of approximately 308 linear feet of six-inch  water main and appurtenances.

All bids must be in triplicate, sealed, marked and addressed as follows:

Township of Salisbury, 2900 South Pike Ave., Allentown, Pa. 18103

All sealed paper bids, mailed or delivered in person, will be accepted until 10 a.m on Thursday, June 6, 2013 at the office of the Township Manager.

Bidders must be PennDOT pre-qualified.

Each bid must be accompanied by bid security made payable to the Township of Salisbury in an amount of ten percent (10%) of the Bid price and in the form of a certified or bank check or a Bid Bond issued by a surety meeting the requirements of PennDOT.
