Truck Driver Gets New Legs and Hope at Lehigh Valley Hospital

A truck driver from Tennessee passed out and awoke from a coma two weeks later to some bad news at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest, but he says the care and compassion he got there have turned around his outlook.

David Sweeten stood for the first time in two months Thursday. That's because the 43-year-old truck driver from Tennessee got a new pair of prosthetic legs and compassion from strangers at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest, where he is making the long road to recovery from devastating illness, according to The Morning Call.
