Walking Dead Cast to Join Dorney's Zombie Invasion

 Three cast members of AMC's The Walking Dead will be at for its Zombie Invasion on Friday, Sept. 14, the park announced Friday.

The second annual Zombie Invasion kicks off the park's Haunt V season, and guests will be allowed to come in costume, a Haunt first, or they can be at the park.

The event is open to the public, including season passholders.

Schedule of events for the Zombie Invasion on Friday, Sept. 14:

* 7:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Panel Discussion with Walking Dead zombies Kevin Galbraith, Savana Wehunt, and Sonya Thompson.

* 9:30 p.m. to 11p.m. Meet-and-greet opportunity with Kevin Galbraith, Savana Wehunt, and Sonya Thompson.

The event will be a preview of "terrors" for the Halloween season.

HAUNT V will run Sept. 14 to Oct. 28.

Tickets for the Zombie Invasion are $25, but season passholders can bring up to four friends for $14.99 per ticket, according to Dorney's website.

The park also is launching a Twitter contest for a VIP experience with The Walking Dead cast members. The contest is on Twitter.com/DorneyParkPR, and requires entrants to tweet their best survival tips for the park's HAUNT V.

The top 10 tips will be featured in the park's Halloween Haunt V Survival Guide, and the winners will receive two tickets for the Zombie Invasion and a VIP reception with The Walking Dead cast members. Entries must use #DPHAUNTV and be received by Wednesday, Sept. 12, at midnight to qualify, according to the park's website.
