Key to Awesomeness : Since 2007, Ian has been playing in three-man, five-man and seven-man paintball tournaments all over the United States. His father, Jeff Trainer, said he and his son leave for paintball practice in California on Fridays. He picks Ian up after school, the two drive to Philadelphia International Airport and they arrive in California around 9 p.m. On Saturday mornings, they wake up around 6 a.m., drive 40 miles to Camp Pendleton and Ian practices from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. When he is finished with practice, the two drive back to the hotel where Ian works on his homework. They follow the same schedule on Sunday and take a red eye flight back home. Modest and hardworking, Ian still finds time for schoolwork and school activities.
