As a final attempt to save the historic American Legion Post 450, a fundraiser is planned Friday, Feb. 1. Donations can be dropped off from 5 to 7 p.m. at 20 Chadwick St. Members hope to raise at least $5,000 in funds toward the mortgage and to negotiate new insurance terms.
