Stun Gun Brought to Parkland High, Police Say

Two students were arrested and charged with carrying a prohibited weapon at Parkland High School, South Whitehall Township Police said.

Two Parkland High School students have been charged with carrying a prohibited weapon onto school property, South Whitehall Township Police said.

One of the boys brought a stun gun to school to give to another boy, according to Officer Ben Porobenski, the school resource officer.

Both boys, whose names and ages were not released, were arrested Monday and charged, he said.

Porobenski said he was alerted by a teacher that the boys had a stun gun.
