LCCC Main Entrance Restricted Until Thursday for Route 309 Construction

Lehigh Carbon Community College's left turn lane at its main entrance on Route 309 and Education Park Drive will be closed until Thursday, according to PennDOT.

The turning lane will be restricted and motorists should use caution and expect delays, PennDOT said.

LCCC advised on its Facebook page that a flagger will direct traffic in and out of the entrance.

The college recommended an alternate route:

"If you are coming from south of the college on Route 309, it is recommended you use Old Packhouse Road as an alternate route. Please use the Google Route provided:http://goo.gl/Ho7LK or the directions below.

From Rt. 309 & Levans Road – at the CVS traffic signal –
1.Head north on PA-309 North.
2.Take left onto Old Packhouse Road about - 0.9 mi (near the fire station.)
3.Turn right onto Orchard Road - 1.0 mi (just past Kid’s Peace.)
4.Turn right onto Education Park Drive - 0.3 mi"
