Slow Down: Your Speed is Being Recorded

For the next week or so, a digital speed-limit display will record speeds on Crackersport Road near Springhouse Middle School.

The portable displays are usually set in areas where there have been a lot of complaints about speeders. The posted limit is 35 mph.

South Whitehall Lt. John Christman said speeds will be analyzed and police will determine whether to post a police car based on the data.

South Whitehall police recently had the speed awareness sign along Cedar Crest Boulevard, also in response to reports of speeding.
