South Whitehall Township: Comprehensive Plan Workshop

The Planning Commission will be holding the first Comprehensive Plan Workshop on January 11th at 7:00pm. Meetings will be held both in-person in the public meeting room in the Township Municipal Building and virtual on the Township’s GoToMeeting platform. 

We recommend the meetings be attended virtually to allow participants to take advantage of additional features of the virtual platform.

The workshop meetings will be held on the Tuesday before the second Wednesday of the month:

• January 11th
• February 8th
• March 8th
• April 12th
• May 10th
• June 7th

…Meetings may continue after June. Check the Township website’s events page for updated information

These workshops will be devoted to the Comprehensive Plan update. The goal of these meetings is the preparation of an outline that will be used to compile the first draft of the new Comprehensive Plan.

The Comprehensive Plan Workshops mark the beginning of the final phase. This phase built upon previous phases by synthesizing prior public input into a series of recommendations based in the following subject areas: Community Facilities, Community Utilities, Housing, Resource Protection and Transportation.
