King George Inn Zoning Appeal, Horse Camp: Wednesday in South Whitehall

Here's a list of four things happening Wednesday in South Whitehall.

1. The South Whitehall Township Zoning Hearing Board meets at 7:30 p.m. at the township administration building, 4444 Walbert Ave. The owners of the former King George Inn, Burger King and Carvel Ice Cream store at thecorner of Cedar Crest and Hamilton boulevards want to raze the historic inn and build a hotel, bank and drug store on the lots. The owners are appealing maximum building height requirements, right-of-way and setbacks.

2. The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation will inspect bridges Wednesday on Route 309 at Route 22. Motorists can expect traffic delays.

3. Building Code Appeals Board meeting. 3:30 p.m. at the South Whitehall Township Administration Building.
