Bad Checks, Credit-Card Fraud, Theft: Recent Police Reports

  • Darius Carter, 19, of Coatesville was charged Dec. 29 with writing bad checks after he failed to respond to the notices issued for insufficient funds by District Court 15-4-01 in Chesterbrook.
  • An arrest warrant was issued Dec. 30 for Rosaline Perry, 31, of New Castle, Del., on the charges of retail theft and receiving stolen property after she was identified as the actor in a recent theft of formula from the Paoli Acme.
  • Around 1 p.m. Dec. 30 on the 700 block of Mancill Road in Wayne. The victim reported their credit card was fraudulently used in the Exton Walmart to purchase a game system for $369.94. The case is under investigation.
  • Around 1:30 p.m. Dec. 30 on Hillside Road in Wayne. The victim reported several packages were stolen from the doorway. The packages were Christmas gifts left by a family member.
