Contention Lane Closing Through Early April For Bridge Work
Tredyffrin Township officials said the bridge and road over the Chester Valley Trail will be closed to all pedestrian and vehicular access.
TREDYFFRIN TOWNSHIP, PA — Contention Lane will be closed through the beginning of April due to repair work on the Contention Lane Bridge.
Tredyffrin Township officials said the road will be closed from Friday through April 1.

The closure is weather permitting.
The affected portion of road is between Coldstream Drive and West Swedesford Road.

The Contention Lane Bridge over the Chester Valley Trail will have repairs made, including removal and replacement of the existing wooden bridge deck.
During the work, the bridge and road over the Chester Valley Trail will be closed to all pedestrian and vehicular access.
Drivers will use local roadways, such as Westwind Drive to the west and/or Old State Road to the east, to detour around the work zone.
