Devon Mom Wins The Pillsbury Bake-Off and $1M
Christina Verrelli's sweet treat tastes like a million bucks.
As Martha Stewart fumbled with a drum roll cue and an slowly opened the envelope, Christina Verrelli of Devon watched and waited, along with the other three finalists in the 45th annual Pillsbury Bake-Off. After a few awkward TV moments on Stewart's Hallmark Channel show Stewart announced that the Main Line mom is the winner of this year's bake-off.
Verrelli will get to bring bragging rights and a cool one million dollar prize home to Devon.
Verrelli, a wife and mother of two, won for her original dessert creation.

Verrelli's winning recipe puts a new twist on a classic american favorite, pumpkin pie.
The recipe calls for 14 ingredients and takes about an hour and 12 minutes to make.
