Assistant District Attorney Joanne Pescatore showed the jury in the two-day trial a video taken at the scene of a botched robbery.
She linked the defendant to the crime by proving Davis wore a distinctive pair of sneakers and a flashy belt that was seen several hours later when Davis was jumping out of a stolen car.
Davis’ lawyer, Douglas Dolfman, countered there was insufficient evidence.
Loncar lived in the 1400 block of North Corlies Street and was pronounced dead half an hour later at Temple University Hospital.
Davis was on probation and was awaiting trial on charges of carjacking and assaulting a prison guard when he fatally shot the victim.
