2 Hurt When Car Hits Pole
Upper Macungie Police said power was lost in the vicinity of 5774 Cetronia Road, when a car swerved off the road and hit a utility pole.
Two people were hurt and power lost for a time in the 5700 block of Cetronia Road after a car swerved off the road and hit a utility pole, according to Upper Macungie Police.
Police said 27-year-old Meggan Kantner of Mertztown was driving on Cetronia Road when she lost control of her 2006 Saturn Vue around noon Wednesday.
Kantner's car hit a utility pole near 5774 Cetronia Road, police said.
PPL was called to the scene to repair the pole damage and restore power.
Kantner and her six-year-old passenger were taken to the hospital.
