2 New Members Appointed To Recreation Board

The appointments follow the resignation of longtime member Chuck Thomas.

The Upper Macungie Township Recreation Board recently added two members and lost one.

The township's Board of Supervisors, at the recommendation of the recreation board, appointed Jeffrey Pascoe and Jennifer Kidd to open position. The board also accepted the resignation of longtime member Chuck Thomas.

The recreation board is an advisory body in that it makes recommendations to the township supervisors on recreation matters and the supervisors set policy.

The recreation board holds its meetings on the last Thursday of the month with the next meeting scheduled for March 28 at 7 p.m. at the township building.
