3 Vying For Open Supervisor Seat
Incumbent Edward Earley will face Jim Brunell in the May 21 Republican primary, according to an unofficial voter registration list.
Incumbent Upper Macungie Supervisor chairman Edward Earley will face a challenge from Jim Brunell in the May 21 Republican primary for the six-year seat, according to an unofficial voter registration list.
On the Democratic side, Chris Casey is alone on the ballot and will face the winner of that May 21 primary contest.
Earley was first appointed as an Upper Macungie Township Supervisor in 2002 to fill a vacancy. He was elected to a four-year term in 2004, and in 2008 he was re-elected to a six-year term.

In the District 2 County Commissioners race, which includes representation for Upper Macungie, three people are vying for the open seat, including incumbent Percy Dougherty.
