4 Thefts from Vehicles Tuesday, Police Say

Upper Macungie Police say they were dispatched to four separate incidents of thefts from vehicles Tuesday, where the cars were likely unlocked.

Upper Macungie Police say they were dispatched to four separate incidents of thefts from vehicles and vehicles being ransacked.

The locations were:

  • The 1500 block of Russet (Green Hills)
  • The 200 block of Wyndham (Windermere)
  • The 5500 block of Juniper (Green Hills)
  • The 200 block of Lenape ( Olde Towne)

Police say in some of these cases, items such as change and a GPS unit were removed. In all of these cases, no signs of forced entry were observed, suggesting that the vehicles were unlocked.

Police ask residents to remove valuables from cars and keep them locked when not in use, especially during the overnight hours.
