5 Things To Know About Your Library
Parkland Community Library serves the literary needs of Upper Macungie Township and the Parkland School District.

The American Library Association has deemed the week of April 10 through April 16 as National Library Week and, as such, here are five things to know -- and appreciate -- about your local library .Â
1. Parkland Community Library, located at 4422 Walbert Ave. in Allentown, serves the township of Upper Macungie, North Whitehall, South Whitehall and the Parkland School District.
2.  A full calendar of monthly events include story times for pre-schoolers and children and families, Movie Nights, homeschool book clubs and a knitting circle. The library also hosts local guest speakers and holds special demonstrations and events.

3. The library is a rich source for reference material, both traditional and electronic.
4. POWER library service is available for members to download netlibary ebooks and audio books.
