5 Things To Know In Upper Macungie This Week

The first day of summer and a library fundraiser are included.

1. Weather: It's back to summer-like temperatures, according to the National Weather Service and we can expect high temperatures in the mid-to-high 80s with increasing humidity.

2. Summer: In connection with number one, Tuesday marks the first official day of summer.

3. Municipal: The Upper Macungie Township Zoning Hearing Board is scheduled to meet Wednesday night at 7 p.m. in the township meeting room, located at 8330 Schantz Road in Breinigsville.

4. Library: Parkland Community Library, located at 4422 Walbert Ave. in Allentown, holds its knitting circle from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Thursday.
