51 New Jobs Planned for Upper Mac Pharmacy Facility
Americure Rx, a long-term care pharmacy, plans to invest more than $555,000 in a new Upper Macungie facility that will create 51 jobs over three years.

Americure Rx, a long-term care pharmacy service for nursing care facilities, has established operations in Upper Macungie Township, and will create 51 new jobs at a facility located at 6620 Grant Way.
The company has entered into a five-year lease for a 10,500-square-foot facility.
The company plans to invest more than $555,000 in the project and committed to creating 51 new jobs within the next three years. Positions will include operations and maintenance, pharmacists, technicians and drivers.
“We worked in coordination with the Governor’s Action Team in collaboration with the Lehigh Valley Economic Development Corporation,” said Jaco du Plessis, president of Americure Rx in a release. “GAT's assistance was instrumental in getting the project launched.”
Americure Rx is a long-term care pharmacy that mixes, packages, labels and delivers prescriptions to nursing facilities.
The company's website said the Upper Macungie plant will service facilities located in eastern Pennsylvania from Scranton in the north to south of Philadelphia.
The company also has operations in Florida, according to its website.
