Upper Macungie Police say an 89-year-old Allentown man was taken to the hospital for a medical check following a three-car crash on Route 222 at Cetronia Road.
Police say Kenneth Happel was driving southbound on Route 222 at 4:15 p.m. Monday when he turned left and struck a car driven by Caitlin Bamberger, 23, of Blandon.
Following that, police say Happel's car struck the car of Rodney Brocious, 76, of Breinigsville, who was stopped at a red light on Cetronia Road.
Police said Bamberger's 2004 Dodge Neon suffered major front end damage and Happel's 2005 Nissan Altima had moderate passenger side damage. The 2009 Saturn Vue of Brocious received minor front side damage, police noted.
