Breinigsville Man Assaults Woman, Police Say
Upper Macungie Police say Nicholas Foster, 24, of Breinigsville was charged with simple assault and harassment Wednesday night.

Upper Macungie Police say a dispute turned violent Wednesday night and left a Breinigsville man in Lehigh County Prison facing charges of simple assault and harassment.
Police say Nicholas Foster, 24, got into an argument with a woman at a location in the 1000 block of Cetronia Road about 6:30 p.m.
According to the arrest affidavit:
- Upper Macungie police found the woman on the street with a young child, upset and crying, with red marks on her neck and arm.
- The woman told police that Foster hit her in the face and upper body area and threw her onto the couch.
- The woman told police that while on the couch, Foster grabbed her by the neck.
A preliminary hearing is scheduled for Aug. 7.
