Curbside Yard Waste Pickup is Oct. 10

Upper Macungie Township will take leaves, garden residue, shrubbery and tree trimmings from your curbside.

Upper Macungie Township's curbside yard waste pickup will take place on Wednesday, Oct. 10.

The township will take leaves, garden residue, shrubbery and tree trimmings.

Limbs and branches tied and bundled to a maximum of 48" x 18" x 18". No
roots will be accepted. Leaf waste can be placed in open trash containers, no
larger than 32 gallon capacity and less than 60 pounds.

A combined maximum of six bundles or containers per household will be collected.

Residents are asked to place yard waste at the curbside after 6 p.m. No plastic bags, stones, grass clippings, lumber, tree roots or shrubs will be collected.

In addition, township residents are advised that fall leaf pickup will begin on Oct. 15 and run through Nov. 30.
