Earthquake Slightly Shakes Lehigh Valley

Reports are of 5.9 magnitude quake centered in Virginia

Much of the Lehigh Valley was shaken by a 5.9 magnitude earthquake that was centered in Virginia just before 2 p.m., according to the Morning Call.

The report said many Lehigh Valley residents called police communications centers and dispatchers concerning the origin of the shaking.

The report said there were no reports of local injuries.
