Easton Man Charged With Prescription Fraud

This incident was reported by Berks-Lehigh Regional Police. It does not indicate a conviction.

An Easton man was charged with possible prescription drug fraud after attempting to obtain prescription drugs June 7 at the CVS Pharmacy, located at 5801 Tilghman Street.

Francis Muzyka, 30, was charged by with obtaining prescription drugs without a prescription.

Police said pharmacists alerted police when prescriptions for Muzyka were called into the pharmacy using a physician's DEA number.

Police responded to the call and apprehended Muzyka who was taken to Lehigh County Central Booking on the charges.
