Good Friday is a religious holiday, not a national one.
Here's what is closed on Good Friday:
- Upper Macungie Township municipal offices
- The Parkland School District and its schools
- Lehigh County Courthouse
- District Judge Michael Faulkner's office
- The U.S. stock market
Here's what's open:
- Upper Macungie garbage collection will take place as normal
- The Parkland Community Library
- Pennsylvania state liquor stores
- PennDOT driver license and photo centers
- Post offices (mail will be delivered)
- Most banks
- Most retail and entertainment establishments
