Goodwill Fire Co. Needs Fastnacht Volunteers

seeks volunteers to assist with its annual fastnacht baking over the weekend of Feb. 17-19, according to Ladies Auxiliary President Linda Gorr.

The annual fastnacht sale is a major fund-raiser for the fire company.

"There are six-hour shifts and no experience is necessary," Gorr said. "We are one of the few places that makes them the old-fashioned way with potoatoes and fried in lard."
