Freezing Rain Advisory Overnight Into Saturday

The Lehigh Valley including Upper Macungie is under a freezing rain advisory for light freezing rain from 10 p.m. tonight until 10 a.m. Saturday, according to the National Weather Service.

WFMZ says temperatures are expected to be near or just below freezing, so ice could easily develop, especially on untreated surfaces.

The Weather Service says:

• A chance of rain, snow, and sleet before midnight, then a chance of freezing rain and sleet between midnight and 3 a.m., then freezing rain likely after 3am. Cloudy, with a low around 31.

• Rain, before 7 a.m., is expected Saturday. High near 40.

• Sunday will be mostly sunny and warmer with a daytime high in the lower 40s.
