Jaindl Teachers and Parents to Hoop It Up

Jaindl Elementary School teachers and parents will take to the Parkland High School basketball court on Friday, April 5 at 7 p.m. for their third annual Turkey Slam basketball matchup.

Jaindl students will be involved in the contest, according to chairwoman Jennifer Bower, with the fifth-grade choir singing at the event.

The Jaindl Art Club is making banners for the game and cheerleaders and a pep band will provide spirit, Bower said.

Both the parents and teachers have a victory in the basketball series.

Both teams are said to be practicing hard for the game. Last year, the Jaindl teachers pulled out a 33-28 victory.
