Knitting Circle, ESL Parent Night Thursday in Upper Macungie

Good morning everyone. It's Thursday, Oct. 24. Time to see what's happening today in and around Upper Macungie.


1. Are you a knitter? Join the Knitting Circle at the Parkland Community Library, which meets this afternoon at 1:30 p.m.

2. The Parkland School District hosts an English as a Second Language Parent Night tonight from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the cafeteria of the Springhouse Middle School. There will be a presentation about the district calendar, parent access center for student grades and attendance, information about translation services, web site, as well refreshments.

4. Just a reminder: Upper Macungie's trick-or-treat night is scheduled for Friday from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
