Android Takes on Kuhnsville Car Wash

recently launched an Android app for smartphone owners who hopefully also want clean cars.

"We're just trying to continually improve," Owner Jon Kuhns said. "This helps people who don't clip coupons and we're trying to tell people if we're open or closed during the week. It's an improvement over our iPhone app."

From the app, customers can call the , get directions to the Tilghman Street location, order gift cards and view and redeem coupons. Customers can even access the car wash's mobile Facebook and Twitter pages and submit feedback.

Kuhns had more than 3,000 subscribers to a similar iPhone app, but changed providers.

"We'll have to start over with that," he said. "The app gets messages out to my customer list and we've got quite a few downloads already."
